Would these be good boots for my horse?

I have been jumping my horse for a couple of months now (no trainer) and I am starting to get worried if I may be hurting her legs. She never shows any signs of hurting, but would open-front boots be a wise choice to jump in? Here is a pair I found, I cannot afford those high priced ones. http://www.doversaddlery.com/dover-pro-open-front-horse-boots/p/X1-04232/cn/119/ . My horse was no trained for jumping and she is 10 years old. I would hate to pull something in her leg and never be able to ride her again. Help!!! We also love to gallop so would these boots be bad to wear??
