Please help, I dont wanna go to jail?

So me and my friends are having auditions for Aladdin and we thought our local mall would be a great place to hand out flyers. So we left some flyers on the modeling stands, yesterday. Today the mall called me and told me that they didn't have soliciting even for their own tenants. They told me to come and pick them up. Honestly i am scared out of my mind. I am crying just thinking about it. I can go to jail if I dont go pick up the flyers? Can't they just throw them away and be done with it? I am afraid to go to the mail now :( Seriously this whole situation is screwing with my head. PS. I am only 17 years old. Please help i didn't know
