How Big is too Big when it comes to your Bridal Party?

What is the size of your bridal party? What is the biggest bridal party you have ever seen before? The reason I ask is both me and my friend are planning weddings I plan on having 4 on each side plus 1 flower girl and 1 ring bearer..She on the other hand is planning on have 14 on each side with 3 flower girls and 3 ring beares...Does anyone else thing that is a bit ridiculous?
