My baby hates his car seat?

My son was the same way. Honestly, it sounds like you've done all you can. Your son still needs to be sitting backward - facing at his age but he doesn't like it, so all you can do is tough it out. Once he's a year old and at least 21 pounds, you can turn the seat around if you wish. As tempting as it is, don't turn it around before then as he needs to ride safely. Keep trying the mirror and talk to him so he knows you're still there. Good luck.
