I had about 600 pictures on my camera and i deleted them all and now it says i have 300 remaining shots...?

Once you download your camera to your PC, you should burn them to a CD, then you should format your card in your camera. Camera cards should be formatted after every download. Formatting deletes all the pictures on your card.
